A plugin that 'fakes' clients being connected. A right pain when
browsing servers, agreed.

A filter in the Steam browser to hide fake clients/bots would be nice
(including SRCTVs). If I filter my server list right now to servers
with players on, 4 are full, 7 have fake clients on, and 10 are empty
save for SRCTV. Thats only 4/17 that actually have players on.

Last night while helping a friend setup his network and load steam to
play DOD:S I went to 4 servers that appeared to be full and not one of
them had a single person playing. I usually play on servers that do not
use the spectator bot ploy so I've never felt how irritating this this
is to new players. I really think this exploit should be removed by
valve. Who knows how many servers you would have to visit before you
actually could find one with people actually playing on it. I would
rather see empty servers than have fake full ones. For the best
possible scenario I would actually prefer to have DOD:S bots just like
CS:S. Why shouldn't DOD:S have bots? It's the same engine as CS:S
right? Anyone else feel this way?
