Is there any information at all that someone at Valve can give us concerning the future of Half-Life Deathmatch: Source? I and several others have invested many hours and many dollars to support it by running servers and making maps for it, but the current version has many issues, there is no supported dedicated server available, there is no SDK, it has a small and fading following, and there is zero information available about what will be done with it. There is huge potential here that is not being realized or promoted. I (and probably several others) am at a fork in the road - one fork leads me to continued support of hl1mp:source, server operation, mapping, future modding, promotion, etc. The other fork starts with abandonment of the product because of an uncertain future and leads me to some other as of yet undetermined game. Any bread crumbs someone at Valve would like to scatter in our direction? _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds
