the power of the shotgun depends on the proximity of the attacker to the
victim.

i've been a HW and taken more than 3 shotgun shots to die - becuase of my
proximity to my attacker.

same applies with a soldier Vs scout's shotgun.

as for the "insane" power of his bat - well, yeah if you stand about waiting
to be hit or he creeps up on you - so more aware and move about more.

totally agree on the respawn time.

classlimits - we need those deffo.

load times - get some perspective FFS - its still BETA....
