Technically I just started vacation, After 5 minutes with Google I said 'feh'
and I throw this easy one out to the peanut gallery.

I have the luxury of running the network at Big Search Engine, hanging off the
core switch of Big Search Engine behind my border VXR's is my Source box.
Today at the start of my vacation I thought I'd sit down at home and finally
start to enjoy actually playing the games I've been serving for so long when I
happened to notice that neither of my SRCDS/Orangebox servers were showing VAC
secure. Logs displayed the 'Can't connect to Steam Servers' etc... HLSW
displayed secure 0.

Here's my rather liberal standard Cisco ACL just for my particular box on both
VXRs. Obviously, IP's omitted.

800 permit tcp any host xx.xx.xx.xx eq ftp (22 matches)
810 permit tcp any host xx.xx.xx.xx eq ftp-data
820 permit tcp any host xx.xx.xx.xx eq www
830 permit tcp any host xx.xx.xx.xx eq 3306 (24291 matches)
840 permit tcp any host xx.xx.xx.xx eq 3389 (34 matches)
850 permit udp host xx.xx.xx.xx host xx.xx.xx.xx eq snmp
    860 permit udp any host xx.xx.xx.xx range 27000 27100 (53869141 matches)
    870 permit tcp any host xx.xx.xx.xx range 27000 27100 (21 matches)
890 permit udp any host xx.xx.xx.xx eq 1809

Now, I swap out 800 for 'permit ip any host xx.xx.xx.xx' and wow... VAC
suddenly starts working again.

So the question is... What freaking port outside of the obvious 27000/27100 is
are the VAC Master servers looking for these days that I've managed to leave
out of my ACL?

My head hurts, I'm supposed to be on vacation, any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

We haven't seen any crashes since updating, running on 2k3 plus 32 man
workaround (until valve come to there senses) with the latest builds
of metamod & sourcemod running with about 5 plugins(hlstatsx, tf2
sudden death melee, map cfgs [well handy given latest mess] & a ping
kicker :)

Please if you are having crashes can you let us know what your
running? so we help valve or mod devs fix the issue :)
