I think they are talking about spam that is coming directly to their address as a result of using the list. I have a dedicated email box for this list and it gets about 10 pieces a day. but it doesn't come from the list itself. and since I don't use this address for anything else I would have to assume that my email address has been sucked up by a virus that was on someones machine that received one of my replies. Assuming this the case for yourself.. screaming about un subscribing from the "spam list" isn't going to do anything. I would suggest changing your address and resubscribing to the list.
