I would be fine with the sv_tags thing for CS, in fact, I would welcome it. As long as the servers all showed up in the internet tab by default and the user had the option to apply the filters. Valve obviously doesn't like people messing with the game "as it was meant to be played". Ironic because in my opinion thats what makes Valves games so great and gives them staying power. I don't know who the f*** decided that this policy of server discrimination was a good idea, but they should be flogged. If this spreads to other games expect not only a revolt but expect those games to die off fast.
Wake up, Valve. You are frustrating the people who have helped you make your games popular and have been long time fans of your work. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Spencer 'voogru' MacDonald" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, March 08, 2008 12:06 PM Subject: RE: [hlds] When CS:S moves to orange box
Actually I think that's a great idea. I'll go order extra pitchforks and torches for the CS:S server admins. - voogru. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of chris wargo Sent: Saturday, March 08, 2008 10:22 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [hlds] When CS:S moves to orange box -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] I sure hope they don't try to implement the custom/internet tabs when CS:S moves over to Orange box.
