I asked a friend to turn it off while I was playing TF2... Didn't notice any
difference, nor did anyone complain of any lag/worse performance. So in the
meantime I will run a few servers whit out the boost and see if anyone
complains.

The weird thing about this is that fps_max 1 with the boost will use up the
same amount of cpu as fps_max 999... It would make sense to run servers at
200/300 but as long as the boost is running you might as well run it at 999
because both use the same amount of CPU :(.
