I've been begging Valve to take a look at performance: I can't even run SourceTV on a full server on a single core of a 2.4 GHz xeon, or FPS goes <100, but with SourceTV disabled I can stay generally above 500, and it hovers most often around 2000 if I have that hax loaded (though, again, this is pointless)
