Being VAC banned is not proven guilty?

Use performance-enhancing drugs to cheat in sports and you might not
be allowed to participate in any games or competitions for many years
or never again at all in your life. This is because a person with a
cheating mentality will cheat when given the opportunity. Cheating
takes away the challenge in playing games and leaves only a will to
win at the cost of fairness and fun.

Of course professional sports for medals, money and recognition and
public network games for fun are very different, but if you used drugs
to beat your friends in a just for fun football game then you will
lose a lot of friends. But no one would do that. You might however
cheat online if you got that mentality because it's easy to get away
with and it's hard to get caught in the first place, so any step that
makes getting caught cheating online having a bigger impact on the
cheater and therefore making cheating online less attractive is a step
in the right direction.

It does not matter if you were teenager when you cheated, I was a
teenager not too long ago and I never cheated or committed crimes that
would hurt or affect another person negatively. A teenager's brain is
not fully developed, but if you believe that a teenager cannot think
straight enough to understand crime and punishment, right and wrong,
choice and consequence then maybe teenagers should not be playing
violent video games in which you kill other people the first place.
But they do, and they can without going on killing sprees, so blaming
your bad choices on being a teenager, now that is bullshit and it will
not give you an online get out of jail free card.
