Our servers are based in Chicago, Windows 2003 OS Checking on our TF2 server, I was unable to find it in the Steam Browser Internet Tab. Removing all filters and refreshing for All pings and All Locations, I finally can see it with 500+ ping !!! Ping, however, shows as 41 on the Steam Favourites Tab, running tracert through cmd shows 33 ping and net_graph gives ping 41.
I also noticed that ips starting with 69.xx.xxx take a very long time to show up on the browser and even then are very few in number for TF2, similar to what I see in the L4D server browser. Still can not see our four L4D server in the L4D server browser Internet Tab. Ok I can wait to see if this problem is resolved with Valve's next L4D patch but clients not being able to see our TF2 server is bad. What is going on with the Steam Browser?
