All, I am getting the following error: Steamservice.cpp (271): Assertation Failed: Failed to start Steamservice when running the Windows Half-Life Dedicated Server. I am not running Windows Vista, so I see no reason why I should be trying to start the SteamService.
Here is what my command is to start my server: hlds.exe -console -autoupdate +maxplayers 24 +map crossfire +localinfo mm_gamedll valve/dlls/sev.dll The +localinfo allows me to run Severians Mod along side Admin Mod since one of the last updates broke this functionality by default.
