I don't know how long the exploit has been around. There might be other variants that this plugin won't catch, but I don't know unless I see it happen.
If you're in game when an attack is occurring it is easy to tell. If you have net_graph 3/4 on, the number of updates you are receiving (the far right of the "in: " line) remains stable but the top graph will look blocky or very spaced out.
