Hi All,
Normally, I'm just a reader and get some great info from this list that I've
been a part of for years... but rarely post. Sorry to say, that I'm posting
this issue, but just want to get some clarification on this. I have seen
this posted before, but I want to assure myself that if this is my problem?
Or is it Valve's problem with the server software?
I've been getting a flood of complaints here recently about the servers
dropping people all at once. Having checked the server hardware and
configurations, I noted that the hardware and OS is working as intended with
no disruptions in network service. I've checked the usual controls and other
suspected problems caused by mods and what have you. (Note: The users are
reporting "Lost connection with the server" messages, but are able to
reconnect after that.)

Now, I'm pretty sure it was not a network issue since another server on the
same hardware kept it's players. (At least it seems that way from the logs.)
Another service that is connected to that same server did not report any
disconnects, which was connected from overseas.
Anyway, as I understand it, there is a number of complaints of disconnect at
map change... but I've seen a few other complaints that resemble this
scenario. Please correct me if I'm wrong... If the opinion here shows that
it was network problem, I'll need to dig deeper. Otherwise, I'll wait to see
if this upcoming TF2 patch will address this.

We are using the new Anti-DoS tool provided from this list from Tony. (logs
are empty)
Can't really add anything other than this happens very randomly. There is no
consistent pattern that we can see.
