For what it's worth, I get this error off and on after rebooting my linux server as well. No idea what the deal is, but sometimes it happens and other times it does not. I've got 300+ MB of core.xxxxxx files sitting around as well if someone *really* wants me to email them through.
I would try going through disabling plugins one by one, but as I've said the problem occurs sporadically at best, so that doesn't really seem the best approach to take.
