Ya, I probably should have clarified myself. I've only been around since 2003 and going through some of the old emails is kinda fun. Same ol' complaining, ranting, and offtopicness happened then as it happens now. OMG Steam is down, VAC sucks, your name is stupid, why are you advertising on the list, etc.
Oh and also good stuff like this: I just recently switched my server from a P2 233mhz OC'ed to 416mhz ... 320MB of ram and a maxrate ... HLDS 4.1.1.1c. This hardware has worked fine for me for over a year! To a Super Socket7 with a K6-3+ 450 ACZ OC'ed to 550mhz, 100mhz fsb x 5.5, Via chipset. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Rick Payton Sent: Friday, February 06, 2009 3:19 AM To: Half-Life dedicated Win32 server mailing list Subject: Re: [hlds] Trying to learn servers Because originally this list was all about HLDS support, YEARS before SRCDS was available - hence the "Cause we old school" comment from Tony Paloma. I've been off and on this list since 1999-2000. Even when I didn't run servers for a few years I kept up :D mauirixxx -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of DontWannaName!
