It's Monday. My server's gone. Really, what's the point?
L4D has been the worst game out of Valve in a long time. Horrible terms of content/$. Game-breaking balance issues (melee spam, closet/corner humping, etc.). Stupid lobby system. Severe lack of content (no, the Spring update does not entice me at all). Unprecedented lack of communication and support for server operators. I somehow justified paying $50 for L4D. I can not justify maintaining a server for the game any longer, only to have it sit completely unused. It seems to me there was a marked change in Valve's output (in every sense) some time shortly after the launch of TF2. What the hell is the point? My server is 100% pure vanilla. No traffic. > Date: Sat, 14 Mar 2009 09:13:08 -0700 > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [hlds] L4D Client Update > > El oh el... if only we could roll back.
