Did this used to work? Have you updated anything lately? I had a couple of apps start to do this out of the blue, and come to find out that something/somewhere/somehow had installed Microsoft 2005 and 2008 c++ runtime updates. I removed them all with extreme prejudice (which surprisingly didn't break anything), and all is well again. When did you install the vc++ 2008 Redistributable Package? Did you install VS2008? What did you install that might have installed the vc++ 2008/2005 packages?
