Hum -- guess we just use it differently in our community, we have a
steam link (steam://whateverthisis) to the DNS name, so it works for
our community.

That is a little annoying -- I don't use the server browser (as I
always use the community link)..  Guessing it's been like that since
the dawn of time...  Get with the times, Valve!

I could understand them not wanting to resolve DNS for say the
Internet list.  But why not for servers you add on the favorites list?
 Store that as DNS and check it following the same rules as a regular
DNS client...
