What we're running into is clan members are looking for a particular
environment (PG-13 language, attention to cooperation, etc...) so we've
passworded the L4D box. Thus the lobby system, while fine for its
intended purpose, is at odds with what the playerbase wants.
I guess they want DoD:S without the lag and wild hitboxes. Which,
come to think of it, that's what attracted me.
I've set up a LAN server at home, I'll mirror a port and wireshark
the map download problem later tonight. Without custom maps and a
way to distribute them this game will become boring right quick.
