Sorry for the double post, but here's the quote from Milton on the Linux list yesterday regarding the config question...
________ Some changes were made to reduce the number of ports that were opened but never used. What I am explicitly configuring on the ports are: +hostport -netconport -steamport The following ports have been disabled, so you don't need to worry about them. +clientport +tv_port Matchmaking convars should still be much the same as the current L4D1. So, in theory you should be able to re-use your configs from L4D1. If you are tweaking any of the game play convars, then all bets are off :) M. ________ Kerry ________________________________________ From: hlds-boun...@list.valvesoftware.com [hlds-boun...@list.valvesoftware.com] On Behalf Of Shawn Somers [shawn.som...@gmail.com] Sent: Tuesday, October 27, 2009 9:15 PM To: Half-Life dedicated Win32 server mailing list Subject: Re: [hlds] Left 4 Dead 2 Demo Dedicated Server Available Anything new with the server.cfg?(ie, new cvars?)
