I had just started a topic: Left 4 Dead 2 Demo 10/30 Update

I loaded the update and now players cant join if there is a player in the
server already. It returns "the server is full" with 1 player in the game and
others trying to join.

Vanilla win2k3... thx

So for now I had them join thru the lobby so more then 1 can play...

Subject: [hlds] Left 4 Dead 2 Demo Update Available

A required update is now available to the Left 4 Dead 2 Demo.  Please run
hldsupdatetool to receive it.  The specific changes include:

Left 4 Dead 2:
- Fixed bug that caused dedicated servers to become unjoinable over time
without a restart or heartbeat update
- Fixed exploit that allowed players to end a campaign and return to the lobby
without a vote
- Public players are no longer matched to lobbies that are idle for a prolonged
period of time. These lobbies become "Friends-only" lobbies
- LAN servers list will now show listen server single player games as not
joinable and will show game type as "single player" too

Linux changes:
- srcds_run now supports two new options -nodefaultmap and -steamverify
-nodefaultmap will suppress this behavior in case you have specified a map
in a config file
-steamverify will add -verify_all to the steam command line option when
using -autoupdate
- srcds_run will now automatically add the +map option to the command line
unless +map is specified
