Anyone here noticing the amount of spam being sent to the list? My list email that I use got hacked and was going to send out a bunch of spam messages, but thankfully Google blocked it. Anyways, I believe there is some bot going around that can find out your email and password on your mailing list account and it will try to login to your email. If your list account password is the same as your email password it will get into your account and start spamming every person you have ever sent mail to. This is probably a security issue in the old version of mailman that Valve uses, according to the list website the version is 2.1.9, the latest is version 2.1.13. I cannot determine if this was the cause of my account getting hacked, but I only use this email for this mailing list...
So forewarning, if your email is the same on the list as on your email account then you should change your mailing list account password.
