Status and Ping both seem to be *rate* limited on the OrangeBox. What's really effecting me is the unreadable output, there's double newlines which results in the output being rather garbled. I wrote a simple SourcePawn plugin because of this, it seems to work rather well in comparison.
But anyways, as Harry said, this has been brought up before.
