I posted hlds_linux about L4D servers not starting while ago too. I
guess it affects both windows and linux servers then.

1. Upon execution, l4d does nothing... doesnt even attempt to load.
2. Upon execution, l4d attempts to load though crashes right off the bat.
It reports: Unable to load the manifest file
'scripts/surfaceproperties_manifest.txt'
This is on win2k3 servers, I have no dumps to provide :)

FYI, The Sacrifice updates have been released for both L4D and L4D2. Content
servers are grinding to a halt, so good luck getting your servers updated
right now. :P
