There was a day when topics like this were welcomed and discussed in
depth on this list. Then, over time, people started pissing and moaning
about stuff like that and today we have a dead list. Go figure.
About a year ago I left the list, thanking those who actually helped
here for their time, effort, and expertise. The rest I suggested going
to hell.
Then, a month or so ago I start receiving email from the list. Not sure
why, I most definitely didn't re-subscribe myself. I'm guessing that
valve lost their subscriber list and restored from an old backup.
I'm finding the reasons I left the list to still be valid (ie it's
pretty much worthless these days). But instead of wishing everyone a
trip to hell, I'll just keep my mouth shut and quietly unsubscribe. Good
bye.
