This is for a pvp server, as of version 1.1.2.5: If tf_mm_servermode = 0, everything is fine
If tf_mm_servermode = 1 AND tf_mm_strict = 0 or 2, connections from favorites are rejected with "ad-hoc connections are not allowed"
If tf_mm_servermode = 1 AND tf_mm_strict = 1, connections from favorites work.
So, to workaround you can either turn off mm, or (ironically) set strict to 1.
