The only way I can imagine this relates to HLDS is if there were some sort of server-configuration related problem that was resulting in action being taken against connected or associated client STEAM_IDs -- however there is no proof of this whatsoever, and even if there were it would be extremely unlikely to relate to HLDS core rather than some 'wonky' 3rd party module.
http://store.steampowered.com/stats/ Judging by the fact that these stats keep being posted without incident and matches normal usage patterns, Pizza's allegation would suggest an even greater level of nefarious conduct on Valve's part. If we were to logically (not everyone's strength, as we've seen today) extend this premise it becomes increasingly unlikely that Valve would take such great pains to hide their activities and then completely ignore or permit open speculation on a publicly accessible mailing list. Based on this, my recommendation is to.. create a mail filter to hide, redirect, or otherwise evacuate Pizza's messages from your inbox. Getting pissed at him does not harm him in anyway. Sorry this email can't be more directly related to HLDS. On Sun, Jan 27, 2013 at 12:54 PM, wickedplayer494 . < [email protected]> wrote: > I think you need to use *your* head.
