We've almost just started. We found out about the SteamPipe yesterday
(we've got a lot to do besides), and we've just begun looking at the
problem today.

Did you ever tried the alternate updatetool. Do you have downloaded
before the update the pipe-version?

It's pretty annoying. We run a game host, but none of our clients can
update their servers - and we can't even tell them why. I'm scared
this might have a bad effect on us...
