After a few restarts it worked fine with 32 max players. I guess the server
was still set to 24 max players and wouldn't let it run. Thanks again! XD

Is anyone else still have issues with getting a MvM server setup and
running with the new steampipe system? Perhaps it’s still a known issue
that MvM is still have some startup problems?
I have tried everything I can think of and my MvM server just will not
start, it cycles into an endless loop of restarts/attempts to start. No
server logs are created as the server never actually starts. I can start
the server on any other map, in any other game mode...but if I even switch
to an MvM map the server crashes, or just never changes.
This is a barebones server with absolutely NO additional plugins, NO
sourcemod or even metamod. I have checked the version of TF2 and made sure
it was fully up to date, I have even created a brand new server from
scratch but with no luck.
Are there still currently issues with getting MvM server up and running or
am I just forgetting some required cvar or settings that I absolutely
need, to get it working?
