It's server crash, not edicts related. I run only 24 slot servers and there's no way edicts reach to end every single time at the same time. It always happened when sudden death was about to begin and boom it went.

Like Jason said, with full server it's much more likely to happen. I think someone might have some odd loadout, which includes other weapon for reason x than melee and server cannot handle it - or something else. Just a wild guess.

Probably a stupid question - but have you been trying it on a full server? The crashes we've been seeing have been happening on servers with 32 players.

I wish I had saved some of the crash dumps - I can try to get some tonight. The symptoms are simply this:

- server settings are *mp_stalemate_enable "1"* , *mp_stalemate_meleeonly "1" and mp_stalemate_timelimit "180"*

- server clock runs out, and server attempts to go into sudden death

- server crashes immediately

*I've tried this with and without Sourcemod/Metamod enabled, and the crash persists, so I think we can eliminate Sourcemod as a cause.

We’ve been trying to reproduce this crash and haven’t been able to. We’ve tried TF2 dedicated servers for Linux and Windows (even 2008R2) and can’t get the server to crash with these settings in the server.cfg:

mp_stalemate_enable 1

mp_stalemate_at_timelimit 0

mp_stalemate_meleeonly 1

mp_match_end_at_timelimit 0

We’ve been testing on TC_Hydro by letting the round timer run out. Please email me if you the steps to reproduce the crash or if you have any crash dump files.

Hello,

Ever since the July 10 "balancing" update, setting *mp_stalemate_enable "1"* & *mp_stalemate_meleeonly "1"* causes our windows 2008R2 TF2 servers to crash every time.

Our players really miss melee-only sudden death - is a fix for this in the works?
