I was just playing on a Valve TF server with an obvious hacker on it,
who kept getting successfully vote kicked (AFAIK its actually a ban) and
everytime he would just disappear for a short time, and then reappear in
spectator and join a team again, while his name and SteamID didnt change
(so no 2nd account), and also the connected time shown via the status
command was not reset, so he never really disconnected as a result of
the ban. Anyone seen this?
Looking at the console, he disappears upon a ban without any message
regarding disconnect, and then shortly afterwards he returns with "***
connected".
If Valve is interested, this happened on srcds146 #30
(146.66.159.69:27044) from 16:28 to 16:38 UTC where he disconnected for
good (and then also with d/c message). During this time he was
votekicked/banned multiple times.
