This is happening for gmod, although most likely for a lot of other source games. If you are in the US/Canada/South America, you will not be able to see 99% of the servers in EU. If you are in EU then the problem is reversed. This problem has been going on for about 5 months now. No word from valve about it. It happens with both the in-game browser and the Steam one. Almost all server hosts I've talked to report that they have the same problem.
One interesting thing to mention is that if you enable any kind of filter (such as "has users playing" or "ping < 100") then the list will work properly. Other than that you will need to have the server in your favorites, connect directly, or connect off of a friend. I'm hoping somebody at valve can acknowledge this problem.
