I've been saying this here and there for a long time now, but I'm hoping
more people seem to pick up on this. Valve is in a spot where their actions
go moderately unpunished, where they are making more money than they need
to while not returning any favors to anyone anymore.

Sure we get things like refunds now that is great! But at the cost of what,
well other games. The clause for DLC applies to their games, so all Valve
titles are safe for the most part. I am not saying the cause here is gone
or dead, but clearly we need to actually do something about it.
