I tend to agree with Hound Dawg here that an IP address or two on each line adds way too much clutter.
That said, I *do* wish the IP addresses were listed once at the beginning of each log when a player carries over from game to game. It sure makes it easier when manually looking through log files. d On 24 Oct 2002 at 12:01, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > Message: 1 > Date: Thu, 24 Oct 2002 16:09:31 +0200 > From: Ferron <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [hlds_apps] any hl/cs developers here ? > Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Hi apps guys, > > it tried 2 times to push for some changes in the logging problem. > Since traffic in this list is very low i wanted to know if somebody in > charge reads... > > thx, > > Ferron > ---------------------------------------------- > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > > --__--__-- > > Message: 2 > From: "HoundDawg" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Re: [hlds_apps] any hl/cs developers here ? > Date: Thu, 24 Oct 2002 08:40:03 -0700 > Organization: World Wide Gaming Network > Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > No, we just idle here..... ;) > > Adding the IP was discussed long ago and deemed unnecessary as both the uid > and wonid are already there.
