And it also means no more opengl for ATI users so kindy stfu >:(
I'm extremely annoyed that I and many other Radeon users are having
to use what is in effect a poor subsitute for OGL
(at least as far as the HL engine is concerned)

Yes, there is a problem with the update and ATI users. The temporary "fix"
for ATI users is to use D3D mode instead of OpenGL.
