Hello hlds_l gods, Slightly off topic as noted in the Subject line.
Now that that's out of the way. I currently run a small hlds_l DM server with a 10 player max. I am pushing it with just 10 players. This is on a 1.5/384 ADSL connection. While browsing I came across this. http://www.nexland.com/nexlandstore/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=NO&Product_Code=200040 >From briefly looking into this product it appears as though you can take 2 broadband connections and load balance them. Or, use one connection as the upload and the other as the download. I also have a Cable connection which has awesome download speeds. It would be nice if I could use my Cable connection for the downloads and the ADSL for the uploads. Theoretically this should allow for better throughput for the players on my hlds_l server. My question is simply, is anyone else doing this, and if so, how and what products ?
