Haha! When i had my server hosted at my former employer (large local ISP), I would know about network problems before any other engineer... My server would start lagging... I'd get kicked... I'd get x # of icq's from players asking if server broke, etc... I'd call the other engineers and tell them our network was broke... 10 minutes later they'd confirm it.. haha
