are you running the 3109c patch? I believe it fixed the linux memory problem. If you are running windows server( in which case why are you posting here) there isnt a fix yet and doesnt look like one is on the horizon.
"Barry L. Jeung" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED]... Never got any response on this issue, and it seems to be worsening. Just wondering if anyone else is noticing higher than normal memory usage. I run 2 very popular 32 player CS servers, and I get a LOT of "feedback" when the server isn't running tip-top. The same server listed below, with the exception that I removed the democracy plugin and updated StatsMe to 2.5.6 was just showing the following: nobody 15504 14.6 61.1 340720 314716 ? R Jun01 366:00 ./hlds -game cstrike -port 27015 -pingboost 2 I just restarted the server + halfd since I was getting reports of pings skyrocketing. My other 32 player server is currently showing the following, and will probably need to be restarted soon as well. nobody 32516 22.3 42.5 359100 218612 ? S May31 930:33 ./hlds -game cstrike -port 27015 -pingboost 2 This box is identically configured, the only difference being a faster processor (Athlon XP 1800+) and a lower version of RH (7.2 as opposed to 7.3). Both boxes have everything stripped of what they don't need, all RPMS patched up to date, and "low-fat" kernels compiled from the latest source (2.4.18). Just wondering if anyone else is noticing skyrocketing memory usage, and if so, what steps they've taken to troubleshoot/fix. Thanks again. -----Original Message----- From: Barry L. Machine specs: Athlon XP 1600+ 512mb RAM HLDS Specs: version : 45/3.1.0.9 2024 secure map : de_prodigy at: 0 x, 0 y, 0 z players : 31 active (32 max) Running beta C with HalfD 2.18, MM 1.12.00, AM 2.50.26a, HLG 1.00 Beta 4, Statsme 2.1.16, and the standard AM plugins + democracy and maptracker. I don't really care that it's using that much memory (dedicated CS machine), but it just seems a little high.
