Hi,
We have a HL/CS server running on Linux. After applying the HL 3.1.1.0 and CS
1.5 patches, we have been unable to get it running in "Secure" mode. The
output from a rcon status command is:
hostname: -=KM=-House of Pain
version : 46/3.1.1.0 2056 insecure
tcp/ip : 66.227.25.201:27016
map : de_dust at: 0 x, 0 y, 0 z
players : 0 active (20 max)
I asked our server provider about any messages in the console from the hlds_l
process, and he told me he found the following messages:
Downloading Security Module from Speakeasy.net ...
Completed downloading Security Module from Speakeasy.net
Server is in Secure Mode.
Error downloading Security Module from Speakeasy.net
Server is not Secure.
secure "1" is correctly set in liblist.gam and the server seems to function
correctly other than not being in Secure Mode.
This is a shared server and the other HL/CS server hosted on the machine
updated fine and loaded the security module fine.
All help is greatly appreciated.
