OK, Well this is wierd..... Now, all of a sudden, I do get kicked when I try to enter w/o authenticating to the server. Of course that's great, but why is it working now...
Another experiment: I go ahead and join, authenticate, and everything is great. Works like a charm. Now I drop and try to join again, but this time w/o authenticating. Amazingly I am let in and again able to execute AdminMod commands. Arrrgggghhhhhh !!!!! Does the HL Client Cache your authentication info for a set period of time thereby allowing you to join a server w/o authenticating, but having access right as if you did ????? Still scratching head....
