Yes, I downloads the 2.1->3.0 patch and extracted it on top of my previous installation. Before the upgrade I backed up my server.cfg and restored it after the upgrade. Ran the sever and wtf no adminmod, no hlguard, etc. Before I knew it I had my modest server full. When things quited down I killed the server and reinstall adminmod. Then updated metamod, reinstalled hlguard and sank_sounds, some tweaking and editing and it ran with out so much as a cough.
Joined the server with no problem.
