You can point any host to any IP you want. Infact you can assign any range of addresses you own anywhere in the world. APNIC/ARIN/RIPE will tell you who owns an IP, it cant tell you where that IP is residing. And if you get a bunch of guys static address's, its not very had to a: change IP's b: request an address change from your ISP c: a dozen other options And how exactly can you tell a dynamic address from a static? At home we are on a dynamic pool, but due to the connection staying up for over 3 months at times, to the 'real world' we appear static. > > back on my original post though. They are a bunch of script kiddys who are no longer the brightest in their field. Days ago, sure myg0t was smarter than your adverage admin, today they fall far short. You see a myg0t on ya server, ban em, move on...
