> 1- i would like to know how many of you use DUAL or Quad servers.?

OK, listen: are you asking for information from people running systems
with multiple processors? Or are you asking about people who are
running systems with multiple instances of HLDS? If multiple
processors, I'd try to be a lot more specific with your question,
because a dual PPro 200 isn't going to be that great :\ There exist an
enormously WIDE spectrum of multiprocessor configurations out there.

As for the rest of your questions, the answers are all going to be
EXTREMELY hardware and configuration dependent.

Let me see if I can take a stab at what you're REALLY digging for here.
Tell me if this statement is a correct one, from your perspective:

"Hey, guys. I seem to be running out of processing power for my
customer's HLDS instances. I'd like to find a cost-effective way of
increasing the number of HLDS instances I can run. To that end, I'm
investigating the value of upgrading my server(s) to a multiprocessor
setup. How can I get the most bang for my buck? Is it really worth
going the multiprocessor route? Would I be better off with two decent
computers instead of spending the money on one high-end dual-CPU
machine? What can I do to optimize my setup to allow me to get the most
out of my current hardware?"

Those are a lot of questions, but they seem to be the bush around which
you're beating...
