Yes, I've seen people with wallhacks and aimbots, sometimes both. And something someone referred to as "speedhack", but this one wasn't proved.
While I was playing I saw one guy hit 5 HSs in a row without a sniping gun ! Lovely. And, yes, sometimes some users just vanish, whenever there is someone spectating. Coincidentally, the users that had 28/4 frag/death type of score. And sometimes those 28/4 type of guys start to play really bad, whenever I log on to the server and start spectating. Funny, uh ? We know VAC is working, but it seems to be going nowhere also. Frozen in time, not keeping up with the "bad guys". At 06:00 AM 1/13/2003, you wrote:
I want necessarily referring to aimbots, but cheaters in general. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Brad Schulteis Sent: Monday, January 13, 2003 2:40 AM To: HLDS Subject: RE: [hlds_linux] Aimbot influx on your server lately? Are y'all sure its 'aimbots' and not that everyone has learned of the ex_ cvars? Cuz, on my server, I havent really had too many people that were that questionable, and there usually are. A lot of people are REALLY good now due to the cvar exploits... but thats about it. I am still seeing about 1 cheater banned by VAC a day, so its working.
