Thats not what they are referring to. The content servers are the ones that actually roll out the steam packages. And its just a beta, this isnt the next counter-strike release by any means, they never intended to have every CS player download the beta! Which is what seems to be going on. Everyone seems to be missing the point of what this really is. Its a Steam beta test for Valve's new project - STEAM. Issuing it with a CS beta is an easy way for them to get the kind of test base they will be hopefully using Steam on in the future. This isnt a general purpose CS update, that will come later. Sheeesh!
