Definitely bans are vanishing from my banned.cfg I had one permanent ban there, and made sure for 3 days in a row it was still there. Then I thought it was behaving properly and forgot about it.
One week latter the ban is gone. The file is empty. I am running CS 1.5 with adminmod (and metamod for that) statsme, logd to support FFmon. I have writeid and exec banned.cfg on my server.cfg file and this is not helping at all. Anyone has a clue about what could be going wrong ? There is no way this machine can be receiving external (ssh) connections. It is behind a nat/firewall. Also I find it difficult that someone captured the rcon password for I only use it when I am on my lan (never over the wan) and VERY seldom do I use it anyways. As I see, it would be hard for someone to capture my rcon password. Hummm...
