This did not use to happen and my server has not suffered any deep changes
lately.

I vote for VAC update problems, yet I can't prove it.

Just remember that VAC modules are the only thing that change W/o our
"permission" on the servers. A good way to compare this kind of instability
issue is to ask guys running C-D if their servers are restarting too.
