This is my main AMD related concern here. The boxes must be 1U boxes, and with a dozen of them stacked, I need something that wont over heat.
If you're buying 1U, then it's probably cost effective to buy the pre-assembled units (bare-bone) that only require you to get the mem, hdd, cpu and drives. In this case, the chassis was designed for your config and heat shouldn't be an issue. As long as the manufacturer is a decent one that stands behind their product, you will be ok.
For the price AMD cannot be beat.
