Gfx.wad would be there but corrupt, eh. Don't wanna jump to conclusions but
I'd just say screw it and reinstall the valve dir(del and -update valve)

Subject: [hlds_linux] Error starting HLDS

I am trying to start up a HLDS server on Linux using the
instructions found on http://server.counter-strike.net.

I am attempting to start it from Konsole - Super User Mode
as part of the KDE GUI. This will not be a production server
but one to test out mods. However, at the moment I am just
loading the standard dll. When running the following command in
the Konsole:

./hlds_run -game valve +maxplayers 6 +map undertow

I get this error:

W_LoadWadFile: couldn't load gfx.wad

The file is in the /valve directory...anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
