I have a CS 12 slots - pingboost 3 running in a 950Mhz, it takes only 60%
CPU when it's full.
And the machine load is under 0.8
That's why i was thinking that 5 or 6 CS servers wouldn't be a problem...
Remember, CPU usage increases almost exponentially for every extra 2
slots over 12 or 14. If a 16-user server runs at about 50% CPU usage,
you're going to hit your ceiling way before you hit 32 players. Also,
remember that different maps screw the server over at different
ammounts. Think of de_chateau, for instance. With all that useless eye
candy where columns have chunks shot out of them and clay pots
disentigrate and boards break, your server gets screwed in the ear.
